Home Away from Home Student Application

Home Away From Home (HAFH) is a program designed to connect international students at Abilene Christian University with families in the Abilene community.

Your Commitment:
HAFH is not a home stay program nor are families held to any financial obligations or sponsorships. Participation in the HAFH is purely voluntary, however, it is a commitment through the end of the Spring 2024 semester.

HAFH families and their students are expected to spend time with each other at least once a month at organized events or personally planned activities.

The HAFH program hopes to provide you, our international students with a first hand experience of what it's like to be a part of an American family and to have a place where you can call home away from home right here in Abilene!

If you are interested in participating in the HAFH program for the 2023-2024 school year, please fill out the application below by Sunday, September 17th.

Save the date for our Ice Cream Kick-off Party (students meet their families) on Sunday, Sept. 24th from 3:30 - 4:30 PM.
